“Kelley!! You are a radiant sun that shines on everyone who gets the amazing privilege to be near you! Congratulations on the SDSU Above and Beyond Award. I feel that “above and beyond” is more of a natural state of being for your giving kind and loving heart. Who you are, what you practice inspires countless individuals like myself to love value themselves and others. I have uncovered my authentic self having you as a role model. I appreciate you and am sincerely grateful for your emitting rays of light, hope, joy, kindness, love and peace!”

“Kelley is one of those rare people who is on this earth doing exactly what she is meant to do. By living in her own truth and beauty, she brings wisdom, compassion, and a refreshing sense of humor to her endeavors- dare I say adventures?, of shedding light and clarity into our lives. Her workshops and mentorship have changed my life. Her work with self-nurturing is revolutionary. Every encounter with Kelley leaves me inspired, encouraged, empowered, and confident in who I am and in my own capabilities. I am a happier, more authentic person because of Kelley and her work.”

“When Kelley Grimes spoke at our leadership event, she instantly connected with the audience in a real and engaging way. She gave real ideas and solutions for the issues most critical to our success as change makers. After she spoke, she was approached by several of our attendees (many in tears) who told her that it was a message they needed to hear.”

“I’m listening to the Power of Intention by Dr. Wayne Dyer. There’s mention of one of the faces of intention is beauty. He asked if there was a person in our lives that just exudes beauty and peacefulness. When I heard that, YOUR face and hug was what I saw. Obviously, seeing all these comments, I am not alone in my experience of you.”

“If you are wishing to pursue the technique of mindfulness as a way to soothe the negative impact on our daily lives left by our frenetic and chaotic culture, Kelley is a wonderful resource. With expert guidance she will give you the tools that will enable and inspire you to achieve a calmer, more joyful life.”
“I met Kelley at a Heath and Wellness Fair. I knew in an instant that she would be an instrumental mentor in my very full life. I signed up for my first workshop, and I was surrounded by the “truth and beauty” that she professes. I immediately signed up for more workshops and invited my adult daughter to attend, as well. During our meaningful dialogues, creative practices, and calm meditations, I became increasingly aware of the power of mindfulness. Using the techniques in my personal life had a direct impact on my professional life, and I KNEW that others at Palomar College would benefit from Kelley’s workshop. With great enthusiasm, Kelley accepted the invitation to present a workshop at our institution, and she will definitely make an impact on our community!!! I am so excited to share time with her, again!”
“Kelley Grimes radiates a positive energy and enlightened beam full of gratitude and peace. I feel so fortunate to call her my friend and mentor. Her self-nurturing workshops always leave me feeling very fulfilled as she guides and helps me to live in the present and to nurture myself. I have purchased many of Kelley’s one of a kind masterpieces of jewelry and intention boxes for myself and gifts. Everyone who receives something that Kelley has made feels special. The healing powers and meanings in her stones have touched many lives.
I followed Kelley’s 30 Day Meditation Challenge which completely helped me focus and stay in the present moment. Kelley’s encouragement and enthusiasm help me to live my life to the fullest while I look forward to her daily inspirations that show up on my smart phone. I always wish to be more like her! Thank you Kelley for everything you do for me, my family and the community! You make this world a better place.”
“Kelley Grimes is an inspiration to me, and a perfect guide for any person wondering how to survive with grace in this stressed-out world! Her therapeutic tools for self-care were just what I needed when I was stuck in the sleep-deprivation and anxiety of being a mom to two young children with chronic medical issues. I knew Kelley had a similar family circumstance, but she always glowed with calmness and joy, so I had to find out her secrets!
Taking Kelley’s self-nurturing workshop helped me really tap into what I needed (including starting an actual practice of self-care), see what was holding me back and offered me both tools and a lovely small community of support as I brought true self-care into my life. Since the workshop, I have been much more regular in my self-care, and I think often of our discussions from the workshop when I need a nudge. I use the carnelian stone I got from Kelley as a touchstone to remind me of my innertruth and beauty, and my need to nurture myself — I swear it does have magical powers!
Having known Kelley in our local community, and as a mentor for self-care, I can say without hesitation that she is the real deal, and beyond. Kelley is authentic, nurturing, creative, responsible, thorough, ever-growing and always-listening. Her powerful professional and personal experiences give her the clinical skills and perspective to do this work so holistically, and her personality and soul give her an unwavering caring for everyone she works with. Kelley walks the talk!
I was so inspired by Kelley and her self-care work that I wrote a column about her! (http://carlsbad.patch.com/articles/cared-for-yourself-lately) I am happy to preach self-care and sing Kelley’s praises as an EXPERT GUIDE in self-care to anyone who will listen — she has been a great gift in my life!”

“It was just over a year ago that I attended Kelley’s “How to Care for Yourself Without Feeling Selfish or Guilty Workshop” with my daughter Gabby. We were a small group of women in all different phases of life yet we were all navigating changes in our lives. We were all seeking wisdom and guidance on navigating change successfully, joyfully, and in a life-sustaining way. Kelley created a safe, positive environment where each of us felt supported by her and by one another, even though we had just met. At the same time, Kelley challenged us to look closely at ourselves and share with others what we were comfortable sharing. Kelley shared simple tools with us in her workshop. She helped me to ask questions of myself, the answers to which helped me to see what deeply held, yet unnamed beliefs I had about being a woman, a mother. That empowered me to decide if I really did believe that and want to continue believing it or if I wanted to recognize it and unclaim it and consider a different definition of myself as a woman and a mother.
One simple tool she introduced me to that day has had a profound impact on me. At the workshop we each selected a journal to take home with us along with a small packet she prepared for the workshop. I used that journal as a gratitude journal to write down 5 things each day for which I was grateful, as she suggested. This simple tool has drawn me into a deeply self nurturing practice. This simple tool has empowered me to pause in my day and reflect. I reflect on all that I have and all that I am and the many gifts people have shared with me and challenged me with. My life is richer for the pause and reflection. I feel more centered, more balanced, and resilient.
Kelley, helped me to improve my communication skills by modeling what she teaches in her workshops. Along my journey I have felt quietly supported and challenged by Kelley’s presence. She maintains a mentoring relationship with us by way of her online presence. Each day she shares with us a thought or intention that has a special meaning to her and this creates a sense of shared journey. Kelley has a variety of tools: intention boxes, jewelry handmade with a special intention, creativity workshops and more which I incorporate into my life as I choose. Attending Kelley’s workshop is the best gift I have ever given myself. It has helped me to strengthen myself and my relationships. Kelley provides inspiration, support, and challenge to me in my journey with her presence and by sharing her process. I recommend participation in one of Kelley’s workshop to anyone and everyone.”

“I’m so grateful that I was able to participate in one of Kelley’s Self Nurturing workshops. The results I felt from the guidance and exercises we were given were immediate and lasting. Before the program I knew I valued self nurturing, but didn’t have a clear understanding of what kept me from doing it on a regular basis, nor did I have a clear vision of a way to incorporate my goals into my daily routine. I now have concrete tools and methods that I use regularly in my self nurturing practice.
I enjoyed freedom from some dysfunctional thinking regarding a relationship I was in during the workshop. I use the products, such as the intention box and journal, to keep me resolute in envisioning new, healthier relationships with the people in my life, and I can definitely say I have experienced a profound, positive change in this area. I rotate the intention frames on my desk weekly to keep a positive message with me throughout the day. I also have several pieces of intention jewelry which I have found to be very helpful in keeping the essence of what the stones hold with me while I’m wearing them.
I believe anyone could gain a deeper self nurturing practice through the workshops, whether you already have one, or need a place a place to start one. Kelley’s warmth and enthusiasm are contagious and create a perfect environment for bonding and growth. The workshop and products continue to inspire me each day.”

“I participated in Kelley’s Self Nurturing Workshop series. I had been a mother, wife and worker for many years and hardly ever took time for myself. I was on the “hamster wheel” and I really needed to learn how to nurture myself. I treated myself to the workshops and they were well worth it. What I liked most was Kelley’s really comprehensive approach. She led us through many different types of activities as we are all individuals and need to find what works best for us. Throughout, I learned about many useful “tools” that I can use every day. I reconnected with creating art through the workshops and realized that creating is something that feeds my soul.
Making time for the workshop really reinforced my commitment to myself. It has stayed with me. I now make time to nurture myself and I know deep down that it is a truly good investment in my happiness and well being. I have gone from barely thinking about taking time to nurture myself to making it a weekly, and sometimes daily, habit. I am able to model this for my daughters and I am glad to be able to pass on such important values.
Recently, I was given one of Kelley’s necklaces as a gift. I chose it myself with the intention that it would be a tangible reminder of my commitment to myself. I chose a beautiful jasper necklace, as it is the stone of nurturance. I absolutely love it!”

“Kelley designed a pair of friendship bracelets for me and my best friend recently. Before she pulled out any supplies we sat down and just talked– we discussed what issues were going on in my and Allie’s lives as well as our friendship and where it is headed. She then decided on the main stone for the bracelets and we worked on little details and such before she went to her studio to work her magic.
When I picked up the bracelets I couldn’t have been happier. They were more beautiful and wonderfully crafted than I could have ever expected. I’m so happy with how they turned out and it felt amazing to give my best friend a bracelet that was not only given with the intention of love, but that was made with love as well. Thanks so much, Kelley!”

“Working with Kelley has been a privilege. I was fortunate to be involved in one of her workshops on Self Nurturing, it was a wonderful journey. Before the workshop I had many ideas on how I would like to start taking care of myself, many paths I thought were the right ones for me. After the workshop, I had more clarity in my process and am able to see practices that are best for me now in this time of my life.
Having Kelley as a guide and a mentor has been invaluable and I believe her gift is the ability to help people find their own truths through self-nurturing and creating their personal path through actions and personal introspection.I have also purchased many of Kelley’s beautiful pieces of jewelry and use them as part of my practiceof being present. When I put a piece on in the morning, I set an intention on what I want my day to be, each one offering their own gift for my day.
Since working with Kelley I am able to take the time to remember that if I am not taken care of, I can’t be of any help to anyone. I also take time to set intentions for what I want my days to look like and I take time to pause and breathe. I am also able to forgive myself in a gentler way when things don’t go as planned.”

“Dearest Kelley,
Thank you so much for working with me on the very personal and meaningful gift that we customized for my niece’s Bat Mitzvah. I’ve never had such a spiritual experience while seeking and choosing a gift before. As we contemplated what would be important, Intentional and meaningful for Hannah, I found that my own spirit was nurtured and the deeply personal connections in my family were made stronger and clearer. As I mentioned to you, Hannah’s mother wrote. “I just had to tell you that I cried so hard when I (saw the gift and cards) It was SOOOOOO beautiful and the gift was SOOOOOO thoughtful and touching and GORGEOUS!!! She loves it and will treasure it always!! I was just really blown away at the love, time, awareness, thoughtfulness and love that went into that gift!!! THANK YOU for being such a love and light in our lives!!!!” and today I received a note from Hannah “I love all of the symbolism and the beads and stones… The necklace and card were filled with so much love”. This was so much more than “Shopping. ” It was a gift to myself and my spirit as well as to the next generation in our family.”
Always in Gratitude,

“I purchased a necklace and bracelet from Kelley, asking her to design them for my daughter’s birthday. She knew her somewhat from our association at the Unitarian fellowship we attend, but Kelley did even more homework, watching Hilary from afar and asking some pertinent questions. I told her that my daughter was sweet tempered, but worked too hard and needed some encouragement in order to better care for herself and also allow her to enjoy the confidence she has earned.
Kelley made her a absolutely, exquisite dark green turquoise set. I also purchased an intention card set, delicately decorated, designed to give her a daily focus. Not only did my daughter derive much pleasure from wearing the beautiful jewelry, she felt there was a magical source of encouragement that came with the gift. She made a practice of pulling an intention card daily, not always knowing until later in the day what the choice meant. She made some self discovery with this gift and allowed herself to meditate over its physical beauty and hidden meanings. I so very much appreciate Kelley’s work and want to choose something for myself this year, a time of transition and a time when I’ve needed a bit of guidance myself. ”
